Hot Topics in Literacy Conference

On Saturday, October 5, 2013 I had the honor of presenting at the Hot Topics in Literacy Conference at UW-Oshkosh.  My presentation entitled, "Making Literacy Interventions Work in an RTI Framework" discussed why it is so important to use balance literacy interventions in our Tier 2 interventions.  I was impressed with how many people attended and it showed that RTI is a very important topic in a lot of school districts.  It is vital we are working collaboratively to ensure we are meeting all students' needs!

September 11th...We Will Never Forget!

Today marks the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 in New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania.  Today we honor those emergency personnel, firefighters, police officers, and normal citizens who risked their life to save another.  We reflect on the thousands of people who innocently lost their lives.  Make sure you take a moment to reflect on today and what happened 12 years ago!

Welcome Back!

Hello Students, Family, and Friends!

Welcome back to the 2013-2014 school year!  I am excited to start another journey in our goal of making every student successful.  As you may have heard PACE has been intertwined with my new role as the intervention specialist.  I will work with both low and high ability students, giving them the tools that they need to continue to Raise the Bar!  I look forward to seeing your smiling faces a week from today and know that at Lincoln-Erdman there is only one way to go and that is forward!

Sincerely,

Mr. Brad A. Washuleski
