School Cancelled- Monday, Febraury 21st
There is no school today due to the weather. PACE & HALA students from Pigeon River and Washington, here is what will be made up the following Monday.
Pigeon River- 5th Grade HALA- Finish our discussion questions from last week. Also, read from "Bud, Not Buddy". 5th Grade Math Group- Data Analysis Project will be due and we will present to class. 4th Grade Math Group- We will continue in booklet.
Washington- 5th & 4th Grade Math Olympiad- Review Contest #3 and begin strategy review. HALA group- Begin Research Project, make sure that you have posted research topic on the PACE Teachers Wiki this week!

Geography Bee Winner Announced at Jefferson!
Congratulations to Adam K., winner of the 2011 Jefferson Geography Bee! Marcus B. came in 2nd, and Noah H., Alex L., and Gabe G. tied for 3rd. Thank you to all the finalists for an exciting competition!

Congratulations to Tristian W. for winning the 2011 Pigeon River Geography Bee! Kaylee N. came in 2nd place, and Bennett S. came in a respectable 3rd place! Also, thank you to all of the finalists for a job well done and making this a great event!

Nota Bene: No School~ Wednesday, February 2nd!
School is cancelled for Wednesday, February 2nd. Please make sure that if you don't have to be outside that you stay indoors and be safe! Students in my high ability math groups (HAM & M.O.) I would like for you to practice problems in your grade level on http://www.ixl.com and if you need a challenge go to the next grade level up! PACE/HALA students at Pigeon River & Lincoln-Erdman Schools: We will just continue with our classwork the following week, but if you still need to complete your, "I Have a Dream" poster please do so.
